Expierence Beijing Culture
Experience Beijing Culture with Monica and Wayne from Air New Zealand.
Beijing is the cultural, historical and political heart of China, today it a modern and thriving metropolis but also home to some of the world's most impressive ancient wonders: The Great Wall, The Forbidden City, and the Summer Palace. But there's another side to Beijing -- uber cool bars, ultra-modern architecture, great shopping (both in the markets and at the malls), and wonderful cuisine.
The rich traditions of China date back centuries and in Beijing you can find them all -- both in traditional and modern form. The evolution of China is reflected in the music and art scene in Beijing.

Explore Beijing culture during walking tour
#Beijing, a traditional and modern city, features profound culture. Before tall buildings sprung up like mushrooms, hutongs dominated this city in the past and cultivated the unique and long-lasting culture. Many interesting Beijing literary works were inspired by this Beijing culture.
This September, some Beijing authors and sinologists toured a famous hutong, Yangmeizhu Street, which is a 496 byway in Beijing. What ancient stores did they meet during the tour? What kinds of history did they learn? What intangible cultural heritage technique did they experience? Follow the video to feel the unique Beijing culture together! #chineseculture
